Certification Process

1. Define the Target of Evaluation

First, decide on a certification object (Target of Evaluation) - an IT product or IT-based service.

2. Preliminary Discussions

In a preliminary meeting with evaluators and certification body, basic questions about the procedure and approach (ToE) are discussed and criteria determined.

3. Legal and Technical Review

The data protection and data security measures of the product or IT service are legally and technically reviewed and evaluated by recognized auditors (EuroPriSe experts) in accordance with the previously defined catalogue of criteria.

4. Review of the audit report by the inspection body (EuroPrise GmbH)

EuroPrise GmbH checks the audit report for completeness, comprehensibility and conclusiveness. If questions or problems arise, these are clarified with the auditor. Subsequently, a short report is prepared, which contains the essential results of the evaluation.

5. Awarding of the Seal of Quality

Upon successful implementation of the cachet criteria, the certificate is awarded by EuroPrise GmbH. The quality seal is valid for 2 years. After that, a re-certification can take place.
