Wolf Theiss Press Release: Internal Whistleblowing System: Andritz relies on Whistleblowing software from Wolf Theiss IT Subsidiary

Vienna, 10 June 2016

RBS Responsible Business Solutions GmbH, the IT consulting subsidiary of Wolf Theiss, is pleased to announce that international company ANDRITZ has adopted its recently developed whistleblowing system SecuReveal. The highly secure, online-based whistleblowing software supports companies in their implementation of compliance systems.
The ANDRITZ-GRUPPE, headquartered in Graz, is one of the world’s leading technology companies with more than 24,000 employees in over 250 locations and a revenue of approx. EUR 6 billion. They have been actively using SecuReveal since 9 June.

ANDRITZ relies on active compliance management

“SecuReveal was convincing for many reasons – from the simple implementation to the high level data security, to its compatibility with our corporate structure,” said Alexander Krause, Group Compliance Officer at ANDRITZ. “Our employees and stakeholders can now enjoy a user-friendly, absolutely secure whistleblowing system for reporting possible compliance violations to compliance officers anonymously. We take our compliance responsibilities seriously and are prepared to face any future challenges.”
“We are delighted to welcome such an established company as ANDRITZ as our whistleblowing software’s first international customer,” said Gernot Rauter, Managing Director of Responsible Business Solutions and CFO at Wolf Theiss.

The innovative, confidential whistleblowing system for informants, management and compliance officers

SecuReveal allows whistle-blowers worldwide and at any time to notify a specific department of the company or group on a confidential basis of internal irregularities and breaches of regulations. SecuReveal provides employees, suppliers, customers and shareholders with the opportunity to send notifications about misconduct in a company on a confidential basis and as an alternative to submitting complaints to law enforcement or regulatory agencies. Experience shows that employees make sensible, responsible use of whistleblower systems to a great degree. When these systems are used optimally, management can be informed of violations at an early enough stage to be able to take appropriate measures before matters can escalate and cause enduring damage to the company’s reputation and financial loss.
The software guarantees complete anonymity for whistleblowers who do not want to disclose their identity when sending notifications. Whistleblowers can use the secure communication tool to contact the compliance officer in the company whenever necessary to conduct an anonymous dialogue or make inquiries, contributing to a more efficient processing of the notification.
SecuReveal is affordable and meets the needs of large companies: it is highly available, competitively priced and available in several languages. Combined with the legal expertise and longtime experience of Wolf Theiss in IT and data privacy law as well as in employment and capital markets law, SecuReveal is a compliance tool at the highest level of technology and law.
